Steve Diamond shot his first picture with a 126 Instamatic camera at the age of eight on a Cub Scouts trip to the old Grumman Aerospace plant on Long Island. It took him so long to get just the right composition that by the time he triggered the shutter, Congress cancelled the F-14 and Northrop purchased Grumman and moved it to California. He knew then that he was hooked on photography.

Today, through Performance Pix, Steve specializes in shooting sports, performance, and other action photography. Nowadays, he's much quicker on the shutter and always manages to capture the perfect moment.
